RESTORING CONFIDENCE At MAXONS we're in the business of dealing with crises of all kinds every day including some of the worst catastrophes of our time. It's not easy work but there are many positive aspects to helping people navigate through some of the most difficult times of their lives. Some of the lessons we've learned over the years may be helpful as you seek to navigate through these uncertain times. One of the most basic lessons that we've learned about recovering from a catastrophic event is that it's often the degree to which we have confidence in a positive outcome that makes all the difference. Such optimism for the future and a focus on the solution rather than the problem is the foundation for a successful recovery. Another essential element to dealing with a crisis is having access to support structures. Whether such support be provided by family, friends, colleagues, or your community, these support structures are critical for lending advice, support and a helping hand during difficult times. It's amazing how when a crisis occurs, it becomes apparent how much we're all in it together. Simply stated, any preparations or plans made in advance of the unexpected usually increases the likelihood of mitigating the severity of the disaster and shortens the time it takes to recover. It is essential to have close relationships with proven, credible experts who you can trust to guide you through unfamiliar and treacherous waters. We've all experienced that a crisis often serves as a type of test of character to see who'll be there for you through the worst of times. We've been put to the test more countless times over the past 60 years and, as always, you be assured with confidence that we'll be there for you. So don’t settle for “Good Enough” -- you and your clients deserve better!
