Staying Connected

MAXONS' MINUTES
Damon Gersh, CEO

Insurance companies and financial institutions are facing diminished profits, smaller margins and bleak outlooks. Insurance brokers are struggling to keep the renewals they once relied on while many of their clients struggle to remain in business. Real estate companies are faced with record lows in sales, occupancy and face a lack of available credit.

It’s clear the economy is currently in a state of disaster. If there’s one thing that disasters remind us it’s that were all in it together. When a business fails, the ripple effect in related industries is felt far and wide. There’s no more buying or renting of a building. There is nothing to insure or adjust and people won’t be utilizing any of the other countless service sectors that we all deal with every day. Construction, hospitality, retail, media - you name it - everyone is feeling the effects of this collective belt-tightening.

At Maxons we recognize how these connections lead to mutual, shared success of our clients, our customers and our own company. Each disaster restoration project we manage is a convergence of connections focused on solving serious problems for individuals, families and businesses. The recognition and successful integration of these connections often lead to a positive outcome.

In today's technologically interconnected world and social networking utilities, the relationships we have become even more powerful. It's always been true that reputation and referrals form the foundation of most businesses. Our daily activities are often a reflection upon someone else and the trust they have placed in our company. One thing we've learned through handling disasters is that when things get tough, helping others and delivering on your promises strengthen the connections we share and ultimately lead to everyone's collective success.
